Benjamin Khoo is the CEO Founder of Elion House, a Singapore regulated clean technology infrastructure fund manager that provides zero-carbon based solutions to environmental degradation problems across Asia offering holistic-minded investors environmental, social and governance (ESG) compliant criteria to benefit from “Regenerative Return on Investment”.
Mr Khoo has over 10 years experience across all clean technology sectors and has contributed to the conception of patents based on his beliefs of creating concepts and ideas that will benefit humanity, the natural world and the economy. He speaks on Asia’s energy and development options, emerging trends in cleantech and ESG compliant investments at prestigious consultations around the world attended by policy-makers and executives from global companies. He is committed to developing carbon-neutral technologies, ethical and social impact investing in Asia to address biodiversity loss, food, water and energy shortages and has personally invested and originated transactions to this cause.
Mr Khoo has extensive global experience spanning over 20 years in international banking, commerce and government. He began his career in Japan at the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs assisting with internationalisation programs and later at Mitsui & Co. providing enterprise risk management solutions for blue chip banks and companies in Tokyo. He has built teams managing billion dollar securities and derivatives portfolios at global banks including JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, HSBC and Nomura. At JP Morgan, he was on the principal team for structuring and providing risk or balance sheet management solutions for global hedge funds, money managers, corporates, institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds.
